HELL YEAH TRON BONNE! Not surprising that she's in the game after the epic video from last week, but it's just awesome to see her in action in the game finally. On the Marvel side of things, X-23 joins and will hopefully play a lot different than Wolverine. This better not be some Mario/Dr. Mario bullsh*t from the Smash series, Capcom!

I mean, seriously - who the hell would have ever guessed X-23? May as well have brought Bone-Claw Wolverine back. I can't think of any other Marvel character who would could possibly bring less to the table.

True, her special moves aren't exactly taken straight from Wolverine. That's a plus, but... I found her gameplay video to be extremely boring. No where near as fun to watch as any of the other characters thus far.
Guess I should be thankful that there's FINALLY a woman on Marvel's side. It's been a total sausage fest thus far. Still a shame it couldn't have been a more interesting Marvel female.

Have you played a Phoenix Wright game? And eh technically he is from the GBA. Phoenix Wright would be awesome for countless reasons! He could drop fat OBJECTIONS! and Take That!'s at you. And don't say they couldn't have had him playable because of the game he's from. Nintendo made Captain Falcon into what he is in Smash Bros out of their asses. And Capcom put Norimaru into a past Marvel Versus game, who is just a caricature of some Japanese comedian.
And no one on this site cares about some grimdark chick dressed in black with claws that slashes red across the screen. Easily the most bland addition so far. OH BUT SHE WAS A PROSTITUTE! Ugh.
Good point. Have they confirmed Gambit? i was referring to the straight line dashes and whatnot, as well as the wall jump.

Was Phoenix Wright really ruled out? Wasn't that for Tatsunoko vs Capcom not Marvel vs Capcom? Is there a link to this of some sort?

Your argument supporting Phoenix Wright makes no sense. Why would a lawyer in a GBA game be in a Marvel vs. Capcom fighting game? Does he fight in the courtroom? Would that even be fun to play? And X-23 would be fun to play, and no, I could give a shit that she's a"prostitute"(why you would throw that out there is weird,but anyway) so having an 8-bit lawyer throwing "Objections!" out there doesn't seem fun to me. Sorry.
