I've got a hands-on interview with Seth Killian on Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, but our Internet is so jank here in Tokyo that I'm not sure when I'll be able to get it to you. For now, take this nugget that I gleaned from Seth in the midst of our chat.
As you might have guessed, Tron Bonne plays a lot like she did in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Other than a new Level 3 super (which I think we got a look at in the Tron Bomme/X-23 reveal trailer from yesterday), she's going to be the same lego torturing hot-bot jockey that you know and love.
X-23 is going to be something else. She will not be a Wolverine clone, though she does have some "brutal rushdowns," and "some exciting unblockable techniques where if you're able to attack high she's able to assist low." She's also "one of the fastest characters in the game" and though she can "reattach limbs," she wont be using that skill; severed limbs would push Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 out of the T rating category.
So quadriplegic fans, no limbless teenage mutants for you here.

And yeah, the addition of X-23 is only adding credibility to that leaked list - because seriously, who the hell would have been able to just guess that X-23? While the list had a lot of great character to look forward to (Hsien-Ko, Haggar and Arthur), it had a lot of duds. She-Hulk? War-Machine? Akuma? Frank West AND Chuck? It would just really suck to see the roster dominated by obvious clones. (And even if She-Hulk isn't just a slightly-different Hulk, she's still one of the cheapest excuses for a female design - I really hate it when all they think to do is add boobs to a popular male character.)
Molly Hayes. I really want to beat up the other characters as a 12-year-old girl wearing a funny hat.
Unrelated to the game, but if X-23 is in a movie she seems to be made to be played by Summer Glau.
They specifically, deliberately, couldn't put in Gene, Ghost Rider, or The Punisher (it's like they went into my mind and decided to crush all my dreams!), but they put in X-23?
