Looks like the Tekken series is going into complete global saturation mode. First Street Fighter Vs. Tekken, then Tekken Vs. Street Fighter, and now Tekken Tag 2. I thought that Tekken VS. Street Fighter was supposed to be the de facto Tekken Tag 2. Looks like I was wrong.
That was the big announcement from tonight's Super Battle Opera, the big fighting game tourney from here in Tokyo. Speaking of being in Tokyo, it's totally awesome. I think I know where there's an arcade with a Yun and Yang enabled Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade cabinet. We're heading out there tomorrow. I'll do my best to get you a hands-on report.
Wish me luck!

This must be punishment for every unpleasant word ever uttered in response to Shaquille O'Neal's off-court ventures -- his rap career, his starring roles in Kazaam and Steel, the mind-numbing Shaq Fu. I can only imagine that ...

You know what game series no one ever talks about? ClayFighter. I remember years ago competing in a Blockbuster challenge for it (Blob for life!), and how much of a big deal the Nintendo 64 game was, but alas, it's kind of a ...
I'm not sure what it is about fighting games and leaks. It's almost as if their mere existence is a challenge for the world to determine the roster ahead of time. With Injustice: Gods Among Us, word got out that Lobo, Batgir...
As a quick follow-up to yesterday's story on Tecmo Koei's latest coming to Japan, we now know that Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is confirmed for North America and Europe, too. I mean, we had no doubts it was coming. It...

Remember that tease for something DOA related that featured Momoji? We were worried it would be for some silly character DLC. It turns out that it was a tease for a new game: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate.
This week's Famitsu reveals that Dead or Alive 5 Ulitmate is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360. The only thing we know so far is pretty obvious by now: Momiji will be a playable character.
Stay tuned.
