Mmmm, on one side, this stuff looks really generic, RE4/Hell's Reach/Dark Sector/Gow-like over-the-shoulder shooter with zombies and hellspawn, on the other hand it's made by right people. I'm kinda upset, hoped Mikami/Suda51 would come up with something really fresh.

Shinji makami a man who ruined resident evil series by making the fourth one without zombies, without horror, without survival, only a lame 3rd person shooter with idiotic controls. and the saddest part is that retards(game reviewers and ppl who were too young to play RE1/2/3code veronica) of the internets consider it the best RE game evah
Fuck yeah! I'm a little disappointed that this is all we get so waiting so long (fingers crossed hoping for some hands-on impressions at the show), but still, this game looks awesome! Also, does anyone else think that the two women in the trailer look a little bit like Catherine?

@subenu im not trolling i actually think that RE4 ruined the RE series and made it a lame 3rd person shooter. just like bethesda made a new oblivion in post apocalytic DC and bought fallout rights to cash in on the name. when reimagination or invotaion of the game makes it loose what it was, i seriously hate it. like RE lost survival horror and how fallout 3 lost turn based combat.
@subenu i suck at grammar and spelling since english isnt my native language. about the changes i hate then the thing i like the most about the game is changed totally. like fallout 2 being isometric turn based rpg(i love turn based games) and fallout 3 being a first person shooter with bullet time and rpg elements. im not saying that Fallout 3 is bad or anything i just i wanted a turn based rpg not a 1st/3rd person shooter. just like in RE4 were missing all the things it made earlier RE games fun for me: backtracking,not knowing what to do next , being afraid to go through a certain area of map since you dont know what will happen when you pass it the 3rd time.
I played RE1, 2, and 3 day one. Even had the huge ps1 box and all. And I have to say, RE4 gave life into the dying game. It was certainly the best gameplay-wise, though part 2 is probably my favorite as far as horror goes. RE4 was spectacular. RE5 brings it back to where the series was headed before part 4, mediocrity.
The 4th installment ruined the series? wut? The series needed a change at that point and probably would hardly be as big as it is now if it wasn't for that change.
I'm with you, retardotron. Considering the last thing 2/3 of this team made together was Killer7, this looks incredibly disappointing and generic. However, I remain optimistic...I suppose No More Heroes seemed sort of generic until we actually played it.

this game look amazing but the main character don't fit well in my opinion. but is Shinji Mikami and Suda so we are going to expect a games with a good gameplay and jokes
I just finished Alan Wake and I'm ready for some more delicious survival horror. I wonder how far into 2011 this is coming out?
personally I wanted something more Suda51-esque, but I'm not gonna rule this out completely. at least it's got a cool look.
Most of looks good, but it just so plasticy looking. Plus why does the main character look so dead, and vacant in the face? Its only early though, so maybe it will get better before its released next year!
Wow, not really impressed with that trailer, but with those names attached to the game, I'm sure it will turn out good.
