Above you can watch a trailer for the Wii version of Michael Jackson: The Experience. It is much as you would expect: A bunch of people dancing with Wii remotes and having a spectacular time doing it. I can't remember the last time I saw such a diverse group of people so insincerely feigning so much joy all at the same time.  It's enough to make me want to sing "Man in the Mirror" slightly off-key.

That said, I'm sure the game probably is a good time but it doesn't stand out amongst other games of its ilk. With such a glut of dancing games hitting the market today, it's a good thing this has the King of Pop's name recognition. Dale and Holmes will be checking out the title at Tokyo Game Show tomorrow, where they'll be able to play three newly announced tracks, "Smooth Criminal," "Black or White" and "They Don't Care About Us." I will pay good money to watch Holmes do that lean in "Smooth Criminal."

You can check out some screenshots of the game below, along with some shots of the DS version which looks suspiciously like Elite Beat Agents. That would suit me just fine, thanks.

It's basically MJ Just Dance, I had a blast with it at Gamescom, but it's a shame that this is the game the Jackson's chose to license. Cashwhores!

That... I won't lie, it seems fun! Just Dance didn't work for me, too damn buggy, I hope this is well implemented (and has a glowing glove peripheral).

I'm still waiting for the Moonwalker HD remake though.

I don't quite understand how you play this game? You just hold the remote a certain way and it registers that movement. So you don't actually have to dance at all. You just sit on the couch and tilt the remote. This will truly electrify the world! <sarcasm> I'm sure this game will be fun when it comes out for Kinect and Move, when the game can actually track your full body movements, and not just your hand.

Ironic that even in death they let Michael play with little kids' Wiis.

They should make a Neverland Ranch park sim game next. Or a Thriller survival horror. Or hell just make a next gen remake of Moonwalker. All of those make just as much sense.....

This is getting weird...I love it.

Also, I hope all you who make the MJ/Wii/paedophile jokes get kicked in the face. Seriously, we get it. We had our lulz and derpz. Anybody have anything original to say?

This is kind of creepy. I mean, the guy is dead, and yet there he is, dancing along with you on your TV.

Does he talk at all? Did they start making this before he died?

How does dancinf with a Wii remote work? If you have to ask, then you'll hate it, because it works like ass.

The commercial actually looked decent in itself, but the game resembled "Just Dance" and other similar games. You'll probably have a better time dancing to the game withOUT the f'ing controller.
