If you've played Team ICO's Shadow of the Colossus and ICO, you'll definitely notice some ties between the games. Those that have finished both titles will have seen even more of a relation. But can we expect to see a similar tie with their latest game, The Last Guardian?
Fumito Ueda revealed in a Q&A session today in Tokyo that the ties between Shadow of the Colossus and ICO didn't come until later in Shadow's development. He said that the two games started out as totally separate concepts, but as Shadow of the Colossus' development was closing they decided to tie the two games together.
As for The Last Guardian, Ueda says that they honestly don't know how it will relate yet. They're not finished with the game, and he says that they'll find out further down the line.
It's obvious that there are visual ties in Guardian, but I hope the team decides to work in some story ties to the other games as well.

Before Wander was conceptualized for SotC, the project was Ico 2 and had a young man with horns on a horse chasing colossi. Now there's this friendly, giant griffon-like thing that could be tied to colossi and they what to play it coy.
Ooookay.
Though there are other ways to connect it, I suppose.

I'm guessing the boy is actually Ico after he was mysteriously converted to an infant in Shadow of the Colossus in of the the most ground-breaking video game endings of all time.
