TGS: Here's the extent of Catherine on the show floor photo

You wanted Catherine. I wanted Catherine. I had my ram horns on. But she's not here. Atlus' horny, upcoming game is absent from Tokyo Game Show 2010. I didn't expect a playable demo, but I was at least hoping to hear a little bit more about their next game. Or at least see some Catherine cosplay. But no.

Because so many have asked me, I'll say it here: Catherine is not really on the show floor. There's only one small display, and all it really amounts to is a screen playing looping video, attached to some boxes and a couple of signs. There's no details, dates or even fliers. And it's in the Konami booth for some reason.

Bah. I'm kind of sad about it all. I took pictures of the whole set up so you could see exactly what I saw and feel exactly as sad as I feel.

Maybe next year.

I was disappointed as well this year Dale, the new trailer didn't give us any new details pertaining to the game. It was way to similar to the first trailer, showing random events without any gameplay or explanation of their significance. Weird be out once and you have my interest, weird me out twice you decrease my interest and I grow impatient.

Atlus has to release some type of gameplay footage before the game comes out though, just gotta wait.

Konami has been publishing a lot of Atlus's games in Japan recently, I think.

the lack of any resources might have to do with Atlus Japan being dissolved less than a month prior, just sayin' :P

This and The Last Guardian. That will make my 2011 complete.

To be fair, Atlus would want to limit the information to their audiences so that they can full enjoy the game when it comes out.
