One of the most pleasant surprises of TGS thus far has been Quantum Theory, a new third-person shooter from Koei Tecmo. At first glance, the game may remind you of Gears of War, but scratch the surface a bit, and you'll see something much more bizarre and exciting. For instance, the game isn't just called Quantum Theory because it sounds fun. The game's name actually has some meaning. It's pretty brainy sh*t, which nicely offsets the manly-as-f*ck gameplay.
Did I mention that it's 1:50am in Tokyo? When I see myself coming up with descriptors like "brainy sh*t" and "manly-as-f*ck," I know that it's past my bedtime.
Good night everybody! Tune in tomorrow with some hands on action with Marvel Vs. Cacpom 3 and Mega Man Universe. Should be able to get those up as soon as I wake up in (Gasp!) four hours!

What demo did you play? Could it be that this build is better than the one you have?
The co-op attacks were terrible and didn't even register half of the time, the story seemed like it was trying to be too many things at once, and the boss battle at the end was pretty anti-climactic to say the least.
Anyone thinking about buying this game should just buy Vanquish instead. It does everything better.

Sooo ... Demo was shit.
Dude. You must be tired. I played the demo last night and it's dreadful.
It doesn't take itself seriously (which is good because it's garbage), it lacks any kind of pithy dialog and the textures are atrocious.
I've noticed on some games powered by the unreal engine that map and character textures can take a while to load in but on the demo I played it took around 5 minutes.
I know it's only a demo but if this game is going to be good it needs A LOT of work.
Play the demo on PSN, it's sooo bad. And I'm one that can usually stomach slightly bad games, so that's saying something.
Shooting reticle was sluggish, environment were puke worthy, A.I. was stupid, melee sucked, and on and on.
A whole helluva lot would have to change to make it remotely playable. It was awful.
Where is Ninja Gaiden 3 damn it!!!!
If i remember correctly Jim has seen (maybe even played?) an earlier build of this months ago and quite liked it.
