Capcom's Tokyo Game Show trailer for Mega Man Universe is focused on level building. Dr. Albert Wily takes you on a tour of some of the stage creation features, which include a variety of terrain, robots and background scenery.
I'm not sold. My love for Mega Man is legendary but the appeal for me is in traversing well-designed levels. I have no aspirations towards building robot deathtraps myself. I'm sure within weeks of release there will be some fantastic content to play, though. That'll probably convince me to at least give it a fair shake.

Hm, looks like a [/i]Mega Man[/i]-ified version of LittleBigPlanet? That sounds pretty good to me. I missed out on Powered Up but some of the stuff I saw coming out of that looked amazing.
RussianSambo is right. There were some damn good user-created levels in Powered Up. It's a shame not many people see how similar the psp game and this one seem to be. I'll definitely be getting this.
Mega Man X8 sucked. And calling this LBP Megaman kind understates the level of creativity that is possible in LBP.
However, this game still looks great to me, Mega Man 2 is my favourite game of ever and this just looks like it's offering the same great gameplay with infinite possibilities in level design, all while using familiar scenery from the previous games. I just really hope it comes with some sort of solid campaign.
I'm sold. Sure, at first there probably will be a lot of shitty levels designed, but in time there will also be some amazing ones, I'm sure. Can't wait!
Also, I agree with somanycats. I hope the game has an awesome campaign, as well. And Robot Masters.
