The beloved Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention is heading to the PlayStation Vita. Expect new characters, weapons, skills, magics missions and more. NIS is looking at the Vita version as a "reincarnation" of Disgea 3 so while it's the same game at its core, there will also be something new to experience for veterans of the game.

As this is the Vita, expect touch control features and even gyroscopic based controls too. There will also be downloadable content that will add more stuff after you've beaten the game.

Disgaea 3 for the Vita will be out Spring 2012.
