Capcom is holding their Tokyo Game Show keynote right now where they've announced Dead Rising 2: Case West. Whereas Case Zero was a prologue, Case West is an epilogue that will star the one and only Frank West. The epilogue is an Xbox 360 exclusive, which Keiji Inafune apologized to PlayStation 3 fans after making the reveal.
The third act in the Dead Rising 2 saga will see Frank and Chuck working together after the events of Dead Rising 2 and is meant to satisfy the people that have been requesting Frank West since Dead Rising 2 was revealed.
Additionally, Capcom has also announced that they've purchased Blue Castle Games, the studio that developed Dead Rising 2. The studio will be renamed to Capcom Games Studio Vancouver.

I'm so glad, PS3 got a lot of things announced exclusive. Like Steamworks for Portal 2 PS3 and Dead Space Extraction in the DS2 LE.
Also Case West is a hilarious name for some reason.

Comparing it to Case Zero would lead me to believe it's DLC - but since Zero sold like gangbusters, the studio will most likely push for it to be sold for $10.
Or it's included on the disk and I'm happy.

To be fair, not being able to play as the joker isn't as significant as missing out on the beginning and end of the game.
Although to be fair again, I doubt any of these are going to have any impact on the plot, other than an excuse to give players a couple of extra missions.
I think there's a bit of a difference between bonus content and Prolouges and Epilouges, especially considering this sound like it should be on the disk.
This just got knocked down to bargain bin territory for me. And on a side note, when did capcom become such screw ups, this, lost planet 2 in general, not announcing anymore vewtiful joe and megaman X games, messing up DMC, c'mon capcom get your head back in the game.

Besides this game should be fun regardless of the DLC.
Also If you only owned a PS3 and never played the first, why would you be pissed at not playing a epilogue featuring a character you never played in the first place? It's the principal of it right?
