For me, the real chills began when she yelled "Become a Warrior of Light!!" at the end! I was like OMMMMGGGGG!!! Warriors of Light was one of my favorite DS RPGs.
I think Nintendo needs to encourage more use of the AR from developers. This looks awesome. I was playing around with my giant AR card from club Nintendo its awesome and one of the 3DS biggest selling points. I know other devices can do AR, but I think the 3d takes the immersion to the next level.

This was definitely the coolest part of the 3ds conference. The game is visually amazing and proves that AR can be extremely compelling with context. I'm always excited about AR.
The AR locks onto the nearest female (preferably one in the age range of 14-25) and makes her into the fairy. You unknowingly become a stalker and/or pedophile.

I saw the video and I thought that was a really great looking game. One of the prettiest game girls I've seen. But I have this bad feeling when someone says "you have to see it for yourself" about any 3DS related stuff. People said this about 3DS's 3D features and I wasn't very impressed when I saw it for myself because it got me quite dizzy.
Also, I feel like AR is still gimmicky even with how it's used in this game. I don't think I'd like to move the 3DS around to play this especially if I'm not playing at home. Any chance the AR experience is optional?
Anyway, from what it has so far, I think this game still looks promising.

This and Fire Emblem is getting convincing me to buy a 3ds. Hopefully the NOA bs doesn't happen to another Fire Emblem game
I'm in love with this game that the words bravery default flying fairies don't sound stupid to me anymore.
Hate to be negative guy, but it seems so bolted on. For me the "wow, RPGs are finally using new technology" moment was in FF7/8 where they started transitioning smoothly from gameplay to FMV without any visual break. I had been seeing poorly acted and integrated FMV for years already on PC.
But hey, it's a demo. I suspect this hardware and these developers won't be the ones to start really sewing AR and gaming together properly, but at least they're having some fun.
Anyway, much as I criticize, it's always good to see the first serious JRPG projects on a new piece of hardware. Typically if Squeenix doesn't throw their cash into the ring early, nobody else will either.
But hey, it's a demo. I suspect this hardware and these developers won't be the ones to start really sewing AR and gaming together properly, but at least they're having some fun.
