Ape Escape Move comes as something of a disappointment. I was really hoping for the reveal of a full-fledged Ape Escape game at TGS. Instead, we get a on-rails shooter with some motion-controlled fan slapping and net snagging thrown it. If this were a Wii launch title, then maybe Sony could get away with that, but as it stands, this isn't all that impressive.

Well, at least they didn't slip any realistic monkey-faced monkeys into the proceedings. Let's hope they continue to keep it not-real when Ape Escape 4 comes into view. More video awaits you below.

I want Ape Escape 4 dammit!

I find it odd they didn't show it, since they are supposedly working on it.

WTF why? I'm seriously hoping that there's a proper Ape Escape game coming down the pipeline.

Wow, what a let down. I loved the first Ape Escape with a vengeance. The fact that they repeatedly teased me and dashed my hopes and dreams with every following version of the game pisses me off. This is just another dagger to add the already life threatening amount of daggers they have shoved in my chest. If Ape Escape 4 is fail, then I hope they all burn in hell for eternity.

Meh, as much as I adore the Ape Escape franchise, I'll probably end up waiting for the next Ape Escape proper

Did anyone like that Pumped and Primed spin off? That game owned, sooo underrated.

Be fair Jonathan. This looks like a fun game to play and use with the Move.

This looks... meh. I think Move is capable of something better BUT this kind of uninspired games are going to be the rule.

Also, MESAL GEAR!

Oh yeah, pfft are you kidding me? those are hella fun, Holmes must be tripping or something, i mean GoW and Uncharted look lame in comparison, add in the historic success of that particular genre on consoles and i could almost prophetize that this game will single-handely propel the PS3 from last to 1st in this gen, it's practically a fact by now.

Also, after touting about "how much more precise the Move is compared to the Wiimote" the best devs can come up with is YET ANOTHER on rails shooter tacked to a known IP?, seriously...

Well I do remember the mass skepticism of the dual analog requirement of Ape Escape 1 only to be poo pooed by the amazing use of said analog sticks. Maybe one can hope they come through again, but I need to be convinced.

Eh, looks okay. Never been an avid fan or player of Ape Escape games, but the first one was pretty fun.
