I'm not a huge fan of the 3d models, I actually prefer the spri-NO FUCK YOU, CYNICISM. I WANT THIS GAME.
It's neat how even though it's 3D, they made the animation speed and quality just perfect enough to keep it similar to the other ones. If I end up getting a 3DS, I sure as hell have to start playing this series.

Can't wait for this to make it stateside. While I'll definitely miss the sprites, I personally don't mind the change to 3d as it looks like they really nailed the movements that they implied. Though I need to see Phoenix's 'shocked' animation and stuff like that. Regardless of any nitpicks, I MUST HAVE THIS GAME!
I already like that new girl. I mean, she has physically impossible hair, but it just wouldn't be Ace Attorney without it.
I'm a little sad I didn't see mention of Maya, Pearls, Gumshoe, or Edgeworth but even if they don't end up in the game this is a must buy. And I know this is totally not true but what are the chances that the red head is Lynne from Ghost Trick?

I wish this had a new theme song to go with it, instead of a remix of the original pursuit from GS1. I love them songs, and I'd prefer something new instead of remixes. However, they are still upbeat and nice for the game ^^

The transition from sprites to 3D models is really well done imo, it's some kind of a weird mix between the two that manages to keep the dynamism of good old sprites.
Would love to this this kind of work in the newest Fire Emblem instead of this 3D crap they are using now...

So Pheonix Wright looks older so I geuss we can assume it takes place after apollo, which I like cause that means he dosnt stay a hobo
I was iffy about the new 3D graphics but they look so fluid and animated Im sold
Looks like theyre bringing in the holograms from the film, and Im not sure about replacing Maya but well see how it goes with that

Well, this trailer was only meant to showcase the courtroom gameplay and the new sidekick. It's understandable that they didn't show us characters that would likely be outside of the courtroom, if they're in the game at all. I wouldn't take this footage as implication that they won't be in AA5. However, it's pretty likely the Feys won't be present unless they just make cameo appearances. Was Maya even in Apollo Justice? I can't remember. I would also be very surprised if Edgeworth were the main rival prosecutor in this game since each AA game has its own new one. He would also be a side character.

As much as Iove sptites, I'm liking the transition to 3D models. Anyway, Iwant this game in any shape or form, and what's awesome is that IT'S COMING TO THE WEST!
I also miss the 2D sprites. 2D animation looks in my opinion better than 3D (Apollo's sprites were a huge upgrade in the franchise) when there are good animators and a good budget, but I can't deny this trailer made those 3D models look damn pretty too.
If this lightens their workload, speeds up production and takes less money while still looking great then I cannot fault them.
@Adam: It is placed a year after what happened in Apollo (and let's not forget quite a few years already passed before that) I'm surprised he doesn't look that aged hahahaha

Holy Shit, I thought I'd miss the sprited, but everything looks so much better in 3D. The judge looks a little weird though, but damn I can't wait for this.
I'm not sure how I feel about the 3D characters, but I'll probably spend the entire game drooling at them. Bought.
Yeah, this looks pretty sweet in 3D. The only part that looks funny is the mouth moving for talking, but that's pretty much always the case with talking motions in 3D anyways.
I'm still mad at you for what you did(n't do) with the second Edgeworth game, CAPCOM. Still sore about that!
