TGS 2008: Sony: 14 unannounced titles at TGS, and LittleBigPlanet ... duh photo

This is the last big show of 2008, and after a year of promises, the Tokyo Games Show is the perfect stage for Sony to pull out some big guns. It has recently revealed its TGS lineup, including a somewhat decent PSP selection, not to mention fourteen unannounced titles.

The usual suspects are going to be present -- LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2 and Home. We also get to see big third party games such as Metal Gear Online, Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV

On the PSP side of things, Sony will be showing off the upcoming Warriors games due to hit the handheld, alongside top tier Squeenix titles like Dissidia and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. There would almost be a worrying lack of Sony Computer Entertainment titles on show for the portable, but Sony will be unveiling three of its own mystery titles. Good show.

On the subject of mystery, Irem Software Engineering and Konami will each have a surprise for us, while Sony is preparing to unleash nine previously unannounced games from its own studio. Looks promising, so let's hope Sony delivers this time. Hit the jump for the full list of known titles.

Sengoku BASARA: Battle Heroes
Shin Sangoku Musou: MULTI RAID
Musou OROCHI: Maou Sairin

I like the "3" ears... Like PS3.

The words "Konami" and "surprise" are not sitting well with me.

Sony is just drooling over and whoring out LBP for all its worth. You could say they are milking the Sackboy. Oh dear god that was tasteless...

Sony's 2008 has been AWESOME and will finish strong, and now it looks like things will just keep steamrolling right into 2009. Keep up the great work on the software front. I already have 5 must buys before year end alone (and most are exclusives)....YIKES.

I'm totally excited for this.

One, because I hope the next Team Ico project will be revealed and two, because so much decent stuff is hitting the PSP next year.

Japan totally has a hard on for the PSP now and it's causing A LOT of good RPGs to come out for it. I mean, there's already TWO Level-5 games coming out for PSP in the next year!

I haven't played my PSP in a while so I'm eager to get back into the swing.
