The above video is the brand new trailer for Level 5's upcoming White Knight Story. The animation and art direction throughout the clip are utterly top-notch and the entire time it was playing -- while holding a notebook over my genitals to avoid embarassment -- I was giggling and clapping like a mongoloid child you'd see wandering the aisles of your local Wal-Mart wearing a helmet and drool bib while being distracted by shiny colors and bright signage. If my being forced to compare myself to what Mark Twain would call "a retardo" is any indication of just how exciting this whole thing is, I believe we've reached a level of pre-release anticipation where the anticipation itself actually builds more anticipation and developers are no longer paid to create products, only hype. Gaming has, in fact, become Hollywood.
So it's now White Knight Chronicles and not White Knight Story? Trailer was pretty cool but I'd like to see some more gameplay. They showed some when it was first announced, and it looked awesome.
Nex, they've been pretty open about that for years now. The whole "making games more like movies" talk should have tipped you off that they clearly were more interested in hype than substance.
This game is my nubmer one reason for interest in a PS3, especially since FF XIII looks to be garbage. Soooo... until it comes out in the states, I don't give a fuck about PS3 XD.
While the thought of any new footage did give me said undergarment excitement, unfortunately there was absolutely no new footage in her. This looks to be a commercial sized variant of the sex-tastic trailer we got shortly after E3. Just got watch that.
