No More Heroes gets more and more screwed up the more we see of it, and I for one thoroughly approve. So far we've had otaku buying light sabers from Ebay, arm-mounted rocket launchers, explosive gore and mandatory Wiimote masturbation. Today we can add a boss with a groin like the Death Star - a quality I know we've all boasted about having at some point - to that list.

In addition to the very special powers of a guy who quite frankly looks like he's just walked out of an F-Zero GX fetish club, this new shaky cam footage from the Tokyo Game Show brings us a better look at some of the game's other bosses, Travis taking a pretty heavy but pretty funny pounding on the business end of a grenade attack, some cool saber vs. bullet dueling, - Lucasfilm legal department currently set to stun - and a look at our hero's ability to go from relaxing poop to full-on combat seemingly in a matter of seconds. What a guy.

You'll unfortunately though, also notice that the splatter in the build on display is sadly somewhat restrained in comparison to the gloriously exaggerated levels of dripping carnage we've seen before. Apparently there's no reason to start worrying though, as it seems that for some reason, the game is being toned down for the Japanese market, but will reach the west with its full levels of blood-drenched splendor intact. It seems a strange move, that's for sure, but don't forget that Japan still saw fit to censor Mortal Kombat II after everyone else had stopped worrying about the series...

That's what I heard, Edarios.

Although I'm slightly perturbed that he didn't even bother to wipe after "relaxing poop."

@Edarios: That's what I'd say. I actually had to go back and listen to that again.

@Azure: He's a pig, an otaku, and a letch. That surprises you? He was ogling Sylvia pretty greedily, I'd say :)

No More Heroes makes your heroes no more.

It still looks pretty good, but I'm sad to say that I don't own a wii and am not really planning on it anytime soon.

Why do people like stating their console purchase plans? It's always in the comments for Wii news.

"I'm not planning on getting a Wii, I say that just to let everyone know that I'm not getting a Wii, what this means to you, I'm not entirely sure, but I would just like to say, I'm not getting one, nor do I plan on getting one. Just to let you know. In case you were interested. That's me, I'm a no Wii guy. Just letting you know."

@zardoz

that seems to be peoples way of stating the Wii is still not a good system even after they just seen what may turn out to be a hot game on the system. It's like admitting that you lost a game(of basketball or any sport)to another team, but then follow it up by saying something like "but your team still sucks".

I think the thing is now that cool games are turning up for Wii, some seem to have a problem with it, either because they have sold their Wii or judge it as crap very early on.

No More Heroes was always one to watch, even from the first trailer it oozed coolness. This is definitely on my Wii get list.

I bet cosplayers everywhere, will be preparing their light bulb swords for next years TGS, already.

No, no one really has a problem with it, Cowboy.

I think you're sort of imagining it all.

The game looks really sweet. I, too, was initially concerned by the "disintegration" (haha, get it??) of the violence seen in earlier trailers, but as long as it's intact in the US version, I'm cool with that. My Wii could use a decent action game like this.

Zardoz and Sir-G: I think announcing your non-Wii plans is really about convincing yourself to stay true to your non-Wii stance. The initial crowd of Wii disinterested gamers are slowly feeling a pull towards the system now that many non-granny games are on the way.

But inside they made a pledge to not buy a Wii. And for some reason, they do not want to break that pledge.

They'll give in eventually. They all give in.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

And yeah, this game looks awesome. The more I play of God Hand, the more I know that NMH will make my top favoriate action games ever list.

@zardoz, Sir-G, and Tron:

Just so you know, I really do not have any intention of ever buying a Wii. I have nothing against Nintendo or any of its products. While I do think that some of the games coming out for the system are interesting, I really don't want one, plain and simple. Much like The Simpsons Movie, Lost, and Halo 3, I just don't feel compelled to participate in it. I know people who own them and I have played it. But when it comes down to it, I just don't think I really need it.

END EXPLANATION.

Resident Evil 4's violence was toned down for the Japanese release as well. No More Heroes looks radtastic.
