It hasn't even been a month yet since its launch, but already Sony is talking about the success of the PlayStation 3 Slim, and believe me when I say success has been had.
In the three weeks following its September 1 US release, the PS3 Slim has sold 1 million units worldwide. Wouldn't you know it, after everyone from publishers to developers to consumers had been calling for a more affordable way to get in on the Sony gaming scene, and it finally happened, a bunch of people bought PS3s.
Did any of you guys help contribute to that million unit figure? I wish I could say I did, but don't worry Sony, you'll get my money one of these days.

If it wasn't for the B/C on mine, and all those USB ports, (still not enough, give me like 8!) I'd be looking seriously at a slim upgrade.
Loving the PS3 right now, I have neglected my 360 as well(but that's mostly due to being burned out on CoD4/L4D and a new system is always; "Ooh shiny!") LBP/KZ2/FatPrincess = Fun as Fcuk!
Btw: Sexualchocolate/Gene Eric don't HAVE to speak for me now do they?! >_>

Isn't there a New SOCOM coming out? KZ2 is getting a little stale... I still remember first day Socom came out for PS2 and the (required) modem. All the cheaters/modded-disc players... bad times!
But I'd love a new Socom, Confrontation got a bad rep because of it's crippling launch problems, but it's way old now and all those have been sorted. It's a top notch competitive shooter now, a nice contrast to a bit of killzone. - Fairly cheap on the PSN too.
I'm loving a bit of Savage Moon at the moment. It's not easy, but it's a lot of fun on Vengeance mode.
I'm sure I'd heard somewhere that the Socom guys had something to do with MAG?

Good things come to those who wait, and all that. Although from the video's on youtube, the Beta looks pretty tight already!
btw my ps3 has a 300 gig hdd so I might be able to get some extra cash outta that. Or just stick the 40 gb hdd back in and put the 300 gig into a new slim.
