As you can see from the photo above, one of the sights of the TGS merch room this year would be a sure thrill to fans of the Professor Layton game series. These unfortunately weren't for sale just yet, displayed with a sign that promised they were coming soon. What sweet sorrow! I would have grabbed a few just to take home and give away on Tomopop.
A kind English-speaking attendant at the booth informed me that their plushes are usually sold through online shops such as Play Asia, so if you really want to get your hands on these they'll probably pop up online for preorder sooner or later. Just make yourself a little Google alert called "Professor Layton plush" and you'll be good to go.
