You just watched the basis for Dead Rising 2. Speculated to have been 'zombie game show' oriented. Not yet known whether it will be a 'game show' the whole way through, or just as a starting point to the show.
Video is a little skippy, but it's the best I could find.I suspect this vid is a leak and that a prettier version straight from Capcom is on its way.

So, that's fucking brilliant. That's straight in the vein of the kind of b-movie awesome that Dead Rising is.
Hmm, I'm hoping this is just a general teaser and not anything to do with the plot of the game. It's great in terms of showing the style that they're taking, but if this is actually a sizable portion of the game itself, not sure if want.

@ The Dirty Hobo- For the record, I think that the both versions of Dead Rising are flawed masterpieces. I prefer the Wii version for it's RE4-style gameplay and kick ass bonuses, but as you say, they are both "good games that aren't everyone's cup of tea."

I love how around Show season every announcement has at least one comment consisting nothing but "what". I love it.

Considering that the trailer shows the 17th edition of a mock pay-per-view, does that mean it is 17 months or more after the original game? Or even ... 17 years?
