Well, it's about time. Square-Enix have finally whispered the name Final Fantasy Versus XIII again, and released a precious few screenshots for those of us who've been watching for such things.
As someone who's not incredibly stoked for the vanilla XIII or the inexplicably already-hyped FFXIV, This pleases me. It's said to be done by the programming team who developed Kingdom Hearts II (with its oh-so-sweet combat) and the visual arts team responsible for Advent Children. It's also the only part of the Fabula Nova Crystalis project I'm actually excited for. Is that just me, or is anyone else really looking forward to Versus?
Either way, it's nice to know they aren't so busy working on Final Fantasy 23 they can't throw us a bone.

It's a completely seperate Final Fantasy, but set in the same universe. My guess is the future of that world.
I really wanna hear what the combat is like. If there are any tweaks or cool things being added to the KH fight system.
Squeenix you disappoint me still. I want more Versus info.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm looking forward to learning more about the game, but we still know basically next to nothing about it.
The idea someone mentioned about fighting against the characters from XIiI would be pretty cool, if true.
Exactly. How can I be excited for something I know nothing about?
It's all about reputation. We know little to nothing about The Last Guardian, but is it wrong for them to be excited? People who loved previous Ico games know this will most likely deliver too, because they like the developer.
With FFv13, we know it's a Final Fantasy game (free hype), it's made by the Kingdom Hearts developer (some people like them), and they've said it will have a more action related approach. Is it wrong for people fan of both Final Fantasy and KH to be excited?
But then again, I'm a huge SE fanboy that would suck them off at the snap of a finger.

We get Sazh AwesomeAfro McShaft in Vanilla XIII to make up for "Backstreet's Back" in Versus.
I'd be okay if XIII was pushed back 2 months if they just gave me some gameplay form Versus.
I don't know much about Versus' story (granted I try to avoid articles about it so as not to spoil the surprise) but this game is REALLY giving me an emo-Dawson's Creek (I'm old!) vibe. I afraid that I'll be playing a game with several Squall Leonharts running around.
And just because it deserves some love, I'm more excited for Vanilla than this.
I'll definitely buy this, and probably love it, but at least until FFXIII is out, I'll be more hyped for that.

Because people are weird. As if there was some modified or altered version of FF13. FF13, FF Versus 13, and FF agito 13. That's an easy, proper way but people can't that into their skulls.
