I'm pretty excited for it, more than I am for just regular XIII, but I still want to know SOMETHING about the gameplay ...
I don't get it, is Final Fantasy Versus XIII a totally different Final Fantasy game, or is it the same as FF13 with some extras in it?
It's looking good, except that we've already seen these screenshots and that was a while ago. Versus takes place in the same universe as FF13, and some speculate that it will have you fighting against the characters from FF13

I really wanna hear what the combat is like. If there are any tweaks or cool things being added to the KH fight system.

I'm trying to understand why people are more hyped about this game than XIII by itself. The visuals look the same, we know nothing of the plot other than its in the same world, and have not seen any gameplay whatsoever. So why are people saying they'd rather have this over XIII?
Glad to know I'm not the only one more excited for this than XIII. Don't get me wrong XIII looks good but I'll always be a Kingdom Hearts, hack n slash, kinda guy moreso than whatever the hell Square is trying to sell FF as this time guy.
I'm more excited for Versus than vanilla XIII. Those screenshots don't look like they are showing anything that hasn't already been shown in previous trailers though. I hope they start showing gameplay in the near future though, and I hope in involves his badass looking telekinetic sword weilding as in the [url=http://www.gametrailers.com/video/dks3713-trailer-final-fantasy/43655}trailers before hand[/url].

J-drama is finally a video game!
That what appears to be a death's door in the first picture really entices me... I'm hoping for a solid experience in this one and those pictures are certainly nudging me in a favourable position.

I wouldn't say I'm excited, but that's pretty much because so little is known about this game. So far its been just cutscene videos and stillframes. The only thing I'm excited for is the fact that we're getting another game from the KH team. I was really impressed with how they improved the gameplay from KHI to KHII, so I'm excited to see what they do with VSXIII.
I think I'm one of the few people more excited for vanilla XIII than for this, but I am pretty damn excited for this.

I cannot wait for this game! I probably won't even buy FF13, but I'm definitely picking this one up. I love Kingdom Hearts for its combat (pretty much the only reason I like the series), and now they are making a more "mature" Final Fantasy with the same combat, count me in!
I don't even know how to be hyped for any of the upcoming FF games. There are so many numbered entries, spinoffs, and otherwise that I can't even keep track any more. It all runs together.
I've been looking forward more to Versus than vanilla myself.

I can't wait for this game, I just wish they would give the people something more than a few screen shots and a few short trailers since this game was announced.
I'd be okay if XIII was pushed back 2 months if they just gave me some gameplay form Versus.

I SOO am excited for this game. The last RPG in a "modern" setting I really enjoyed was FF7 with Earthbound a few years prior. I really wish more RPGs would shoot for a modern setting. It intrigues me.

Everyone seems to prefer this game over the other FFXIII, but I don't see it. Not even because I don't anything about it, but just because the art design seems more generic. It certainly looks pretty, seeing characters wearing real life fashions, but from the little we've seen of it, it almost seems to take place in the real world. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but for Final FANTASY, I'd rather see something, I don't know.. fantastical. The art design of the other is more interesting, the characters seem more varied, it's a lot more bright.
I'll definitely buy this, and probably love it, but at least until FFXIII is out, I'll be more hyped for that.

I love the dark tone and style to this game. Everything looks sharp, focused, and wild at the same time. Reminds me of Crisis Core specifically. Like a mix of FF7 and 8. It has a lot of potential to be as good as the best FF13 can be, but in totally different ways.

Because people are weird. As if there was some modified or altered version of FF13. FF13, FF Versus 13, and FF agito 13. That's an easy, proper way but people can't that into their skulls.
