Hell yeah! Koei has today announced that Dynasty Warriors Online is coming to the PlayStation 3 in 2010, bringing the previously PC-exclusive DW game to consoles for the first time. Dynasty Warriors Online is a free-to-play hack n' slash MMO, with Koei generating revenue from in-game items that can be purchased by players.
Dynasty Warriors fans in the West have long-since waited for some real online play in their DW games, and a PS3 version of the game brings we fans outside of Japan one step closer. Koei nearly always brings its console games across the ocean, so could DW Online finally make its way West? One can certainly hope.
At the very least, we could now learn Moon Speak and import the PS3 version.
