TGS 09: Dante's Inferno 'Lust' screens have demon boobies photo

Dante's Inferno themes its game around the seven deadly sins, and everybody knows you can't have sin without lust. The "lust" level has finally been revealed, showing off more demonic milksquirters than one cares to see on a Wednesday morning. I'm all for more breasts in my videogames, but when they're grey, bruised and attached to things that want me dead, I'll take a pass.

In addition, some new screens have also been shown for the PSP version of the game. They look exactly how you'd imagine.

With Dante's Inferno, I'm expecting a really stupid, not-very-brilliant hack n' slash filled with gore and breasts and senseless gratification. Anybody expecting more than that will likely be disappointed, but I have a feeling that the rest of us will be fine. Just don't expect this to be as epic as God of War and you should be happy.

Breast are so boring. Replace the breasts with eyelids that reveal eyeballs!

I'm with Jim. Bruised and bloodied bossoms? Meh...

Wait, are they sixaxis controlled? You could shake the blood off if only they were.

This game is still smoking on my game radar. I had faith that this game would be cool, and looks like its paying off. Looks like I'll be buying both a 360, and PSP copies.

Dtoid, is it possible you can get a japanese perspective on western games at the TGS? I have no idea whether there are any japanese Dtoiders, apart from the mighty internet space pimp Cheapy D. It would be nice to see whether they think western gamers are getting better. Maybe you can hunt for some Famitsu staffers or something.

Actually, since Jim wasn't important enough to have actually played the game at EA's pre-tgs event, Kotaku has hands-on with it with the "Lust" level that these screens are taken from.

Apparently the breasts in this game, well, the nipples open up, revealing tongues.

Yep.

I just don't get it. The game's supposed to be based on Dante's Inferno, right? The one where he travels through the nine planes of Hell? What do the seven deadly sins have to do with any of it? It's a completely different fiction!! It's not even the same number! Argh!!

I'm still willing to wait until the final verdict is in, but this game is looking more and more juvenile as time progresses. Here's hoping for the best. :-/

Poor Dante, must be hard to see this, his greatest work now reduced to demon boobies.

Why are they making out lust to be a bad thing?

The game incorporates all 9 circles of hell and not 7.

The levels are Limbo, Lust. Gluttony, Greed, Anger (which is Wrath and Sloth), Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery.

You rush to judgement, they haven't shown what the story is about to much, which is supposed to be about Dante's redemption. He supposely deserves to be in all 9 levels of hell.

Christ, those screenshots are ugly. I'm usually not one to even notice or care about graphics, but jeeze. I don't think I've ever seen such horrible looking textures in a current-gen game. The anti-aliasing is pretty abysmal too; there's so many jagged edges.
