After touting the New Xbox Experience for what seems like forever now, how could Microsoft not address the console update during its TGS 08 keynote?

Besides demonstrating Avatars, Themes 2.0, and a whole bunch of other features we've seen time and time again, Microsoft finally gave us a solid date for when the NXE is launching: November 19.

Are you excited? I suppose I am too, but mid-November is still quite a ways away. Come to think of it, most of us will be extremely busy as it is with the fall game rush, so perhaps it's for the best?

I was kinda hoping this would be out before Gears 2.. So it can brick my console and i won't miss any multiplayer goodness..

looks like I'm not going to touch my 360 that day. just in case of bugs or crashes, I'll wait a week

I hate the world. My brother's letting my borrow his 360 for a week on the 11th for Banjo-Kazooie, taking it away just two days before.
