GameSpot had an interview with Namco at the Tokyo Game Show where it was revealed that the new Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be coming out for the PlayStation 3 AND Xbox 360, Fall 2009. The video interview was taken down, but thanks to the power of YouTube, it’s back for all to see. And as I’m writing this, Microsoft just revealed that the game is coming out for the Xbox 360 at their Keynote taking place right now in Tokyo.
In case you don’t know yet, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion is the arcade version of Tekken 6 with some added extras for the console ports. The GameSpot video shows two of the new fighters appearing in the game, one of which is a new Android fighter that has chainsaws that come out of her arms (so awesome).
To be perfectly honest, I never expected to ever see the Tekken series come out for anything other than the PlayStation 3. Is anyone surprised by this announcement?

happy? hell yes. Saves me money if I don't get a PS3 before it comes out. Though after their little press release, I had a small hint of a possible 360 comeover party. Plus SCIV does well on 360.
