With the recent announcement that Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday is going to be a PSP exclusive and not a mobile phone game (thank God!) I am now genuinely excited for it. I adore the first two Parasite Eve games on the original PlayStation so am only expecting good things from this sequel (which, if you haven’t heard, IS NOT ON MOBILE PHONES ANYMORE!).
Unfortunately, nothing is known about the game. Seriously, nothing. Like, no-one-even-knows-if-it-is-an-RPG kind of nothing.
To let people know the game at least exists, though, attendees of this week’s TGS were treated with a beautiful, oversaturated teaser poster for the upcoming game (check the gallery to view the entire thing). Do I know what is happening in it? Nope. Do I care at this point? Not really. The image is of a kick ass Aya Brea in New York City with a crumbling Statue of Liberty in the background. That’s pretty much the greatest thing ever. But, damn, someone get that Aya some patches for her jeans!

I just hope they give up on the Resident Evil-style controls that PE2 used.
It was about that time I learned sqaure can make crap that is almost as bad kings knight.
But since square had the crappy final fantsy 7 and 8 and saga frontier and all there other ps1 junk out at the time I should have known better that the rest of there games on the ps1 would suck just as bad, I could have bought a decent game both times.
But This time I am not touching this one with a 12 foot pole and I am going to go buy $50 worth of tacos to shoot out of a cannon it will be more fun.

I'm a big fan of PE, I still own my PS1 copy and plan to play it through soon, and while I did finish it, I didn't like PE2, felt to much like RE and not in a good way, I loved the RPG aspects of the first one and the customizable equipment, hopefully this game ends up being more RPG-ish.
i'd love to play this game, but i still don't own a psp :(
on the plus side, maybe this will be the game that convinces me to get one.
I mean...the game. I love the series and I would definitely buy a PSP if I don't have one by then. Been hoping they continued the series so...awesome~
Also, Cube when was the last time you tried to play these games why not give them one more shot? Sometimes peoples tastes will change over the future.(I should know i used to despise FF IX)
