Here at the Tokyo Game Show, the Museum of Game Science isn't really much of a museum. It's more of a booth, filled with nerdy exhibits relating to videogames. Every once in awhile, you'll run into someone here that asks if you've seen the booth with all of the broken stuff. This is that booth. We took pictures so you could see it, too.
The biggest exihibit is a display of several game consoles disassembled and labeled. Ever wonder why the PS3 does not overheat? Now you can see that big-assed fan for yourself. They even busted up a Famicom and Super Famicom. Other exhibits included the history of Final Fantasy and the history of the Tokyo Game Show. Both are in the gallery below.
The coolest was a massive backlight list of every piece of gaming hardware made, from 1983 to 1994. We've left that image at full resolution so you can get a closer look if you'd like.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
