TGS 08: Media Molecule's Alex Evans confirms user levels will make it to retail photo

Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans delivered some exciting news on the Tokyo Game Show floor today in regards to LittleBigPlanet -- those user-generated levels that you've spent so much time and effort on may not be just for your own sense of self-gratification anymore. The plan is actually to include all the user-generated content in the final retail release of the game.

There's currently a poll on the LittleBigPlanet website asking whether you would prefer to start with a clean slate or see these levels added in. If you feel strongly about it one way or the other, make sure to go to the site and weigh in with your opinion.

The beta closes on October 12th at 23:59 GMT, which makes me kind of sad -- only three days left to frolic about in there -- but it should light a fire under your ass if you're still working on a level. The inclusion of this content would make another impressive mark in LittleBigPlanet's already remarkable track record. Would you like to see this happen or would you prefer the slate be wiped clean?

I got into the beta yesterday.
My God, such a fun game. I'm glad all the content I'm seeing will be carried over to retail.

After playing a few amazing levels (load times are BRUTAL), then trying to create my own I realized that I fucking suck at makeing levels!

There are a few levels that are supurb and should be included but I have played a couple levels that sucks bananas.

I all for some quality controll on the levels being included in retaill.

I'm wondering how they're going to cull the good from the shit.

I really enjoy this game. It's really fun to watch a bunch of people who pretty much only play Madden sitting around giggling over LBP.
