TGS 08: Brand new Resident Evil 5 trailer is full of Wesker

First off, the main image was part of the latest content for Resident Evil 5. Looks like you'll be fighting some kind of bat ... man creature. 

Anyway, ask anyone on staff and they’ll tell you I’m most excited about Resident Evil 5 above any other game coming out within the next year. I absolutely adore the series and can’t wait for it to come out in March.

The latest trailer for the game premiered at TGS and it gives us a better idea of the plot behind Resident Evil 5. We see the members of Chris Redfield's team dealing with the infected villagers and there’s even a throw back to Resident Evil 4 in this trailer.

Best of all? Wesker is in the trailer and shows off how badass he always is. The new voice actor doesn’t sound that bad as Wesker either.

Another trailer flashed an image of a tombstone at the end with Jill Valentine's name on it.

She's still my fave RE character, but I guess she did get infect with one of the viruses in RE3. This now makes me wonder who else is still alive Alpha team. We never hear about Barry Burton or Rebecca Chambers anymore.

God damn Capcom, this game has win all over it. I'm so hungry for it, than I am for a Jill sandwich. Lol.

Jill was infected with the T-Virus in RE3 by Nemesis, but Carlos gave her an antidote he had gotten from the hospital.

Well, at least Wesker looks even more bad ass than usual.

I'm glad people aren't all uppity about the changed gameplay and combat...rounding a corner into zombie mouth was - er - fine, but it could only go on for so long.

Definitely my most anticipated game right now.

ANYWAY, RE5 is looking sweet as hell now. Those cutscenes just got me all bonered up for the different environments and situations we'll all encounter...only thing I'm worried about is finding someone to play co-op with me...I just can't find someone committed....sighhh

Damn, watching that video really made me want to kill Wesker. I'd like to feed his blood to the cold earth, like a crimson fountain for the ground to taste, salty and bitter.
