Maybe I'm just easily amused (hell, I know I am), but I get a distinct jolt of delight every time someone makes something clever in LittleBigPlanet. Bring anime into it, however, and you're really prying at my weak spots -- I'm a sucker for such things. For instance, seeing this video and getting a glimpse of Kaneda's legendary bike from anime classic Akira had me laughing aloud and yelling "TETSUOOO!" in my apartment while my cat looked at me with bewilderment.
The commenters seem to think that this could have been created by the same user who made the Gradius level, but it wasn't confirmed. I hope this guy (or gal) continues to make cool stuff, because watching it is truly a pleasure for this nerd.

Where do I sign the petition that prevents Little Big Planet Level Creator related stories from being posted on the main page? I get it people are creative. Just yesterday I downloaded one of the community maps in Far Cry where one guy rebuilt the Battle of Hoth including AT-ATs and AT-STs. But I don't write blogposts about this even though the shit blew my mind. If we are going to report about every stunning level creation in a videogame, we may as well just open an entirely new blog called Creatator. So please keep those stories in your c-blogs and leave the main page to the relevant news.

LBP is relevant to my interests and many other's, and I want to see news about it on the main page. When people create amazing content, I want to see it. If you found an amazing mind-blowing Hoth level, share the information about it, so my mind can be blown, too.

@Char Aznable (taking deep breaths) Well I can see that Destructoid should report about stunning user generated content. No doubt about that. But I think that this should not happen on a one video,screen etc per post basis. With the amount of amazing content Little Big Planet is going to push out into the public this will completely clog up the main page and divert attention from more important news.
And no BattyAdroit important news does not include Jim Sterling digging up the rotten corpse of Sonic the Hedgehog for the sole reason that he can stick his 5 cents up his b**t. I'm talking more about stuff like "Securom ignites DVD-Drive! Gamer suffers 3rd degree burns!" or the announcement of the zombie coop in COD World at war.
