As an owner and lover of all the Frogware's Holmes games I'm excited, it reminds me a bit of the comicbook "The Trial of Sherlock Holmes".
Looks terrible.... If only LA Noire was called Sherlock Holmes instead... I want a full-pledged retail Sherlock Holmes game with a budget that can make sure everything goes right.

Have you played the previous Frogware Holmes games? They are pretty much the best point and click adventures of this generation. The only thing not "amazing" about these games would be the visuals, and who the fuck cares about that? L.A. Noire would not fit the style of Holmes, well maybe Basil Rathbone's Holmes, but not novel Holmes.

He's being framed but won't say anything before he can draw the person who framed him out into the open, and you play as Watson. Called it!

I really enjoyed Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper. Not an amazing game or anything, but it was a fun adventure game, which is a genre that's sorely lacking on consoles.
What's weird about this trailer is that there's a lot of focus on story, so a lot of exteriors/character model shots.
This game's graphics really do shine at times, but it's mostly when you're actually investigating interiors, etc... There is a lot of love put into details.
Otherwise, they're not terrible by any means.

*sigh* I was trying to avoid spending more on the Steam sale than I had to, but I don't think I can pass these up.
