As previously reported, NeoGeo titles will be hitting the Wii's Virtual Console. Today, SNK Playmore has revealed that SNK's oldest fighting game, Fatal Fury, will be the first to make its way to the Wii Shop Channel. The title will soon be joined by other SNK fighting favorites, World Heroes and Art of Fighting.
Each title will cost gamers 900 Wii Points, or roughly $9. This is almost a $200 savings when compared to the average price of NeoGeo carts back when these titles were first released.
SNK's Fatal Fury Special on Xbox Live Arcade was recently met with an overwhelming "meh," and not only was it cheaper, it also had leaderboard support. Are any of these games worth getting excited about on the Virtual Console, or are we still waiting for those hard-to-find classics and obscure titles to come out of the woodwork?
