TERA goes free-to-play starting next week
After announcing the shift to a free-to-play model earlier in the month for the action-centric MMO TERA, En Masse Entertainment has stated the official start date: February 5, a mere six days away. Considering it has been free-to-play for some time overseas, it was only a matter of time before the model came over here. If you haven't dablled in TERA before, you can create a "Discovery account" now, and play with limitations up until the starting date, at which point many of those limitations will be lifted. TERA is a pretty solid MMO bogged down early on by lack of quest design. For the monthly fee of absolutely nothing, it's a pretty good way to spend your time. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
12:00 PM on 05.18.2013 Preview: The Last of UsI was skeptical of The Last of Us. Despite all the hype and high promises, to me, it looked like post-apocalyptic Uncharted. I wasn't sold on the dynamic nature of how the game progressed, and as we all know, zombies have been literally done to death in the past five years. Then, I got a chance to actually play it. How many days until June 14th again?

The game came under some fire recently for being touted as a "short" experience, but I personally can't wait, as PlatinumGames rarely misses. Oh, and it totally has waterslides.

3:30 PM on 05.16.2013 Watch the worst Fallout game ever madeJordan and I have started a new game in our Couch Campaign, and it's one that I have been excited to play since we first began talking about the project. As a huge fan of the Fallout franchise and a lover of top-down, exploration shoot-em-up games, the pairing of the two could have been glorious. And Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is, provided you think train wrecks can be glorious.
