Activision has given a little glimpse of Modern Warfare 2 to those watching the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals on TNT this past weekend. Thankfully, Activision knows that no one but Samit Sarkar actually pays attention to sports-related stuff, so they've sent us the teaser to share with you all.
We catch a glimpse of some helicopter action, an underwater section, and some snowmobile action, and it looks like there's going to be another Death From Above-type mission again. It's only ten seconds worth of gameplay footage, but hey, it's at least better than the first teaser we got for Modern Warfare 2.

I never really understand the whole teaser of a trailer which in turn is just another teaser-trailer leading to more teases... oh well, guess I should get around to playing the first Modern Warfare already.

I really, really hope they do something crazy like break from the `design` of having waves of enemies spawning inside a room, and then rushing out. I know it wont happen, but I can still hope, right
I'm beginning to think they should of just slapped the "CoD" name on there because for one it just doesn't sound right and plus for all intensive purposes... it's still a CoD game.
aaand this is why I hold Infinity Ward in such high regard. They really know how to make an amazing looking game, and let's face it, this game won't dissapoint, not with a developer like that doing it.
After spening hours upon hours upon hours on COD4, it seems I'll be spending triple the amount of time with MW2.
Inifinty Ward, you already have my money, just give me the game already, autumn is too far away.

You guys realize that this is going to end up just like Gears 2... a big disappointment. SOOOO much hype. I'm not saying the game will suck. I'm sure it'll be as good as the first one. But there in lies the problem... AS GOOD AS. When MW came out many were in aww. Excellent graphics, storyline, and multiplayer all wrapped in to one. It was an instant hit. But now we're all use to MW. So when MW2 comes out the only thing that'll be different is the storyline and scenearie.
I'm worried it's going to get overhyped also. I loved the first one, and I hope this is the same. Plus I hope there aren't any vehicles in Multiplayer.
Nice! I'm SO looking forward to COD5. And yes, it is COD5 not COD6. Treyarch made a garbage game that shouldn't have been held in the same regard as Infinity Ward's masterpieces. Technically this upcoming one should be COD4 since 3 was done by Treyarch as well. Game looks great though. Infinity Ward is awesome. Also I seriously hope the took out Martyrdom and Juggernaut.
Tanks in World At War were a nice idea, but I'm so glad they finally removed them from Hardcore (mp). That shit was silly.
I'd love to see dogs again instead of the piss annoying helicopter in multiplayer though. Or nothing at all with 7 kills in Hardcore, because being spawn killed by dogs or chopper miniguns is fucking annoying, frankly.

We assume that since it is a CoD title from Infinity Ward it will be good, because the last title from them was superb.
Another fact that is relevant is the fact that their marketing for the game is very good. The first trailer, though providing no real information, did a great job of exciting players and making people want to buy it.
We know nothing about this specific game, it will most likely be over-hyped. Hopefully it will be as good as IW's last foray into the series, and simply because of the merit of the last game, it warrants a purchase in my book.
Also, Call of Duty is not "fucking amazing". About half of the titles are.
The other half are absolute shit, just like your opinion lnsd.

Anyway, it looks, well, actiony. Snowmobiles look like they'll be plenty of fun. And helicopter gunning? I'm slowly becoming interested.
