iPad should be a really good fit for point and click games though so cannot blame them for wanting to take advantage of the early adopters trying out their new toy.

Telltale's Sam & Max 'The Penal Zone' hits iPad
Yeah, I'm just as sick of all of this iPad game talk as the next guy, but here's a good case for the device -- a new way to experience point and click adventure games. Telltale Games has launched "The Penal Zone," the first episode of the upcoming Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse series, for the iPad. "Sam & Max just feels right on iPad," said Kevin Bruner, CTO, Telltale Games. "The gameplay experience is incredibly intimate and tactile. Playing the game on iPad truly feels different to anything else." Sure, he has to say that. But in my head, I can see where he's coming from, and it has me excited for the possibilities. I've sent Dale after Telltale CEO Dan Connors to talk about the app and the future of Telltale's iPad work, so keep an eye out for more on that soon. "The Penal Zone" is available for download now, and will run you $9.99. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I don't think I've ever seen a company with such bizarre release practices as Telltale. Their games are all over the place.
iPad should be a really good fit for point and click games though so cannot blame them for wanting to take advantage of the early adopters trying out their new toy. Alright... well... I loyally purchased both seasons digitally, then paid for the shipping on the physical discs and bought the 'feelies' packs. I can't help from feeling snubbed at least a bit, if S3 is ready on iPad why not PC? Were these games even on Apple platforms for the first season? There is chatter that the character control is not point and click and uses the new Monkey Island control method. Great for a control pad, slightly cumbersome but workable with a mouse but with a touch screen something that would border on the horrendous. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I dunno how it controls but I had no problem with the Monkey Island control method with a mouse , in fact i thought it was quite intuitive. With that sad I don't see why they would change Sam and Max from point and click unless they want to make this season more 'cinematic' like they did with Tales Of Monkey Island. Either way I've pre ordered it and can't wait to get my grubby mittens on it. Seasons 1 and 2 were awesome. Hey where's PC release? We've already paid for that shit I hope this is just promotion for the iPad's launch because sticking your tongue a fortnight up Apples arsehole is a good way for me to stop being loyal. 9:30 AM on 05.21.2013 Molyneux: Xbox 360 won this gen, now must beat AppleWe all know Peter Molyneux lives in a gumdrop world of magic and make-believe, but perhaps none of us realized he was so far gone as to live in a world where Nintendo and Sony apparently don't exist.
