I want huge dinosaurs roaming around in a skyrim-powered lush open world forest. I'm guessing this ain't that.

Dinosaurs are making a small comeback. Next, Warzard 2, then Cadillacs & Dinosaurs HD, and hopefully Turok 2.

Honestly, I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan, but I can't get excited for this. I simply don't think Telltale is the right developer for the franchise. What it needs is a terrific, story-driven action game, not a Heavy Rain-type adventure game.

The dinosaurs look pretty clunky. Poor animation on the main attraction to the game will make it a flop... Also, the main character looks like the same-old generic douche. My two cents.

I was looking forward to this a few months ago when it was supposed to release. The push back seems to have helped make the graphics look more realistic which I think is a good thing. Not sure how I would feel with a cartoony romp through a terrifying Jurassic horror show. This is a nice sort of branching out for Telltale. All of their releases thus far have been extremely well done so I have no doubt that this one will be too. Plus I love the books as well. Lost World is one of my favorite books of all time--pure awesome adventure. I am not sure how much like the other Telltale releases this will be. I wonder how well a point-n-click adventure will work here. Will there be action sequences? In general adventure fans have hated action sequences in their games, but we'll see. If anyone can do it right it's Telltale.

Incidentally, when you had it pre-ordered before the original release date and then they pushed it out 6 months or so they gave you a refund and a voucher for a free game of your choice from their site. When it comes to pleasing the fans and their customers, Telltale is right at the top of the heap. I will be using my free game voucher to purchase...(wait for it)...Jurassic Park. Yes, you can do that. :)

I'm not familiar with telltale games, and I don't really get how this plays as I know it's not a true action game but some kind of modern point and click affair, but I do love Jurassic Park and dinosaurs so if this gets good reviews I will have to check it out.

But I agree with jacksbrain that with video game graphics so much better nowadays you can have a good survival horror/action game set in Jurassic Park with movie style cut scenes to recreate the feeling of being in a park with dinosaurs on the loose.

Looks very dull. You press a button then watch a cutscene for 30 seconds. One thing I've noticed about all Telltale's updated adventures is that the writers like the sound of their own dialogue too much. I can't play through any of their games.

I'll be at the Telltale panel on Friday, and I WILL be grilling them on JP info. :D

If we can play the dinosaurs, I am buying this game.

For a game which is just a branching non interactive movie this sure does look ugly.
