This sounds less "Wii U's online is nonsensical" and more "I haven't looked at it that much, will let you know when Nintendo is done training us on it"

One of the things that I think we can all agree Nintendo has never done right is an online service. I was really hoping that they would get it right this time, but the longer we go without nintendo talking about their online, the more I worry about it.
They are putting so much of a focus on Miiverse. Why can't they just turn Nintendo Network into a fully featured online service? with a store, DLC, Leaderloard integration, Usernames, messaging, friends, etc.

why post all those devices, nintendo will surely believe online is inferior to face to face contact. no need for primitive devices. just nothing.

They've NEVER been good at online and I don't expect them to be any better cause of the new system.
The Wiis sucks, the DSis, the 3DSs, all their online infrastructure sucks with the 3DS being the best but still utterly pathetic compared to other gaming systems or even smartphones.

That's the one thing I'd wish they would talk about more, their online system, all we know is that their going to have some kind of premium service and that's it.
Some of these articles have been really disappointing lately. Can we step it up a notch guys? I would hate for one of my favorite gaming news sites to get sued for libel.
