I thought you were just being snarky right there. This is a weird collection.
MY BODY IS READY!
"...that could destroy the Mishima family for ever."
D'oh. Boner's gone.
Here's your plot, the Mishima family fortune has disappeared and Xiaoyu sets out to find out why. Turns out Heihachi has given all his money away to a donkey sanctuary. They get their photo in the local paper, have a lovely afternoon tea and they all go home happy. A heart-warming tale for all the family. Christie can flash a bit of arse to keep the dads happy. Job done.
Actually, I suppose that depends on the length of the "movie". If it's less than fifteen minutes, I'm not budging on the price. If it's full length, I can see going up to $39.99.
Either way, I'm not paying full price. A full-length movie would cost roughly $20, and a single HD remake of a game is another $20, to my mind. The demo, being a demo, should be free (or $5 like Case Zero was).
Let's take the Mortal Kombat movie, for example. Shang Tsung holds the tournament so he can absorb more souls to keep his immortality. Liu Kang and friends stop him in his nefarious plot and save the world... for the time being.
Well ain't that just fine and dandy? Oh wait, it sounds OVERDONE AND BORING.
Take 2: Shang Tsung invites the worlds biggest fighters from all around the world to take part of a tournament. When they get there, it turns out to be the biggest pool party across the realms. Goro destroys people at water polo INSTEAD of with his fists, Liu Kang runs on water with his bicycle kick, Jonny Cage falls in the water with all of his luggage (wait...), Sub Zero makes some ice sculptures with his... awesomeness... **snicker** and Scorpion volunteers to climb in a bubble suit, attach his harpoon to a totem pole, and become a tetherball for Sonya and Kitana. Raiden and Shang Tsung get over their old differences and enjoy a beer bong together, and peace was maintained for the next several years... when Shao Khan realizes he wasn't invited.
Why the hell aren't we in Hollywood?
