Tekken 6 heading to the PlayStation Portable photo

Oh, thank the fighting game gods -- Tekken 6 is going handheld this fall.

IGN has confirmed that Namco’s fighter is getting the PlayStation Portable treatment and will pack some additional content. The mini-version of Tekken 6 will have stuff like extra stages and items. It will even have a mode that allows data comparison between players. There. Now you can finally prove to your pals that your panda-punching prowess is greater than theirs.

If you’re wondering exactly when Tekken 6 for the PSP hits, we can’t tell you that yet. But we do know that it will launch with its current generation brethren.

What do you guys think about this? Are you willing to put down the coin for a mobile Tekken?

Tekken: Dark Resurrection was awesome on the PSP. As long as they keep it at the standard and add in Infrastructure fighting, then it's all good.

I'm willing to put down a couple of coins for this one. Tekken:DR was amazing enough on the PSP, this will be that much better.

I hope there's still more to be announced for the psp this year.
I don't need any psp2 now this one is enough .I mean five years is nothing for a handheld.

Hmm it's quite hard to be better than the current tekken for psp. Tekken resurrection feels quite perfect, you have tons of characters, many many modes and the graphics are gorgeous! They have to really do some revolutionary stuff to get my money...

As much as I loathe the Tekken series,Tekken DR was the definitive 3d fighter for the PSP(not that there were a whole lot of contenders). It will be interesting to see if they can do anything other than add new characters and costumes.Either way,I'm sure it'll be a decent timewaster until or if Sega finally decides to give us a VF game for the PSP.
