Namco Bandai wants you to know that the King of Iron Fist Tournament will make its 3D debut on Valentine's Day of next year. You can sit at home, lonely, eating a box of chocolates while you try out the game's 40 characters to see what they look like in 3D. You can put the game in practice mode and stare at the female characters, trying to pretend that you're not lonely.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition uses the 3DS' WiFi connectivity to support head-on battles that they say will run at 60fps. You'll also be able to exchange "Tekken Cards" with the game's Street Pass feature.

And get this: For the first time you'll get a free movie on your game cart. Namco Bandai says that the game cart will also include the animated movie Tekken: Blood Vengeance.

We have several new screenshots of Tekken 3D in our gallery.

Tekken 3DS comes with Tekken Blood Vengeance film in 3D

Releasing a fighter on the Nintendo 3DS is definitely in vogue, so you can't blame Namco for jumping on the bandwagon. At the very least, its fighter Tekken 3D Prime Edition has a cool name. Oh, and it looks pretty good in a...more

Tappingo 2 will hit the 3DS eShop on August 28

I thought Tappingo was a decent (and very well priced) distraction on the 3DS eShop, but there were some problems with it that definitely needed to be addressed. Developer Goodbye Galaxy Games has taken these criticisms to h...more

The 3DS gets a small stability patch today

Nintendo has updated the 3DS today to version 8.1.0-18U, mostly to address "system stability and usability." Some people think there's cynicsm to be had in updating people on small patches, but I submit that there is not! I j...more
