Tehuberone's homemade Mr. Destructoid helmet

[Dtoider Matt T. showed us his Mr. Destructoid helmet yesterday. Today, Tehuberone shows us his. It's almost an exact replica actually. Granted, Tehuberone has actually touched the real helmet before so he was able to recreate it better. Awesome job man -- go steal all the candy from little children in our good name! -- CTZ] 

This is how I made my Mr. Destructoid costume. First I used a cardboard box, a Churro box from work was just the right size, and wrapped in to foil. Make sure you use the shiny side and fasten it with tape. The foil should run you about a dollar at the Dollar Store. Before you wrap the box in foil, make sure that you cut out a rectangle for where the mouth is so you can see through it.  Next, take a sheet of foil out and draw out the face. Cut out the mouth with a razor like a utility knife.

Remember the cardboard you cut out? You will use that for the eyebrows. Wrap them in foil and then superglue them on. For the eyes, I used reflectors that ran about $1.94 I found at Wal-Mart. I found the ears there too, which were 57 cent plastic cups that I wrapped in foil. Next get a jacket, suit up and put the helmet on. Make sure to use a hat or something padded to keep the helmet at the right height for you to see.

After that, take the costume for a stroll. I walked down my street and I had kids screaming "look a robot!" -- Awesome. Oh and the Monster BFC helped me through it. It took about a day, running around looking for stuff to use. Here's the breakdown of what everything cost:
