Tecmo's AGAIN and Monster Rancher DS coming March 2010 photo

Tecmo is piling on the Nintendo DS games next March, dropping not one, but two titles onto retail shelves. The publisher has announced that both AGAIN and Monster Rancher DS will be available in March 2010. 

AGAIN is a crime/thriller title from the Cing, the folks who brought you Hotel Dusk. The game has a detective using his "past vision powers" to investigate crime scenes, finding evidence by comparing the present to the past. 

Monster Rancher DS is, as you'd expect, a Monster Rancher game on the DS. You'll use the DS microphone to make sounds and the stylus to draw pictures that will result in different types of monsters. Then you can make them kill each other. Jerk.

Fun Fact: My mother found her (sealed) backup copy of Monster Rancher 2 for the PSX the other day, and got over $100 on ebay.

'Again' looks like a buy, too. I really got into Hotel Dusk, so they've got me interested on that alone, and this looks like a whole different style of fun.

Oh, but the most fun of Monster Rancher games was using all the cd's in your house to find monsters! "Sweet, my aptiva windows recovery disk had a joker on it!" That's totally lost in a portable version.

I just jizzed. I mean sure, I came to Dtoid to take a break from MW2, but good god damn if it wasn't worth it cause i got to hear about this DELICIOUSNESS!

Hotel Dusk was one of the few games on DS I actually beat(I guess amazing games have that effect on you) so glad Cing is still making awesome games. Day 1 purchase!

I still remember putting in The Scorpion King Soundtrack(please don't judge me, I was 16 at the time =D) and getting some demonic red dragon of so much OWNAGE that it told me "you are not high level/trained enough to use this!" Day 1 purchase!

Monster rancher on DS. Hmmm, It concnerns me that I don't get to swap 500 discs to see all the sweet monsters. Being able to draw my own is kinda cool, but it still takes some of the surprise love out of it. Here's to hoping it doesn't suck

How about... dare I say it... reading GBA carts?! Can they even add that in? DSi owners get the shaft though. "Again" sounds amazing, though (hope they rename it though, almost as bad as "Moon"), count me in for any Cing work.
