Although Toukiden: The Age of Demons has just launched this week on the PlayStation Vita in North America, Siliconera has uncovered a trademark filing for "Toukiden Extreme," which most likely hints at an updated version somewhere down the line.

It's not a new thing for Monster Hunter-esque games to get updates with more monsters and content (in fact, it's weird if they don't), and evidently Toukiden sold fairly well in Japan, so it makes sense. Stay tuned for our Toukiden review.
