Fuuuuuuckin sweet. The .hack//GU games were pretty good, aside from the annoying LETS GO THROUGH FIVE HOURS OF TUTORIALS YOU JUST DID IN THE LAST GAME they stuck in there to make each game be able to "stand alone". It would be really strange if they still tried to make 3/4 games in a set in this day and age, but then again it IS Japan, so who knows.
I never forgot about .hack. I loved the first one, but considering I had little money I couldn't exactly afford to buy the others at full price each.

OH MY GOD! Best fucking news ever! Maybe it's partly becausr I've had the Dtoid Christmas Album running on loop, but I have the biggest, goofiest smile on my face right now.
I've never finished a .hack game. All i remmber is playing through an hour long dungeon, just to die at the boss with no savepoint except before the dungeon. Do it all again, die, then fuckthisshit never played again.
Nope, I definitely didn't forget. There are still a lot of .hack fans out there. Given that they never stopped releasing new manga, books, or anime, and even a recent PSP game that never came out in America despite all our protesting, there hasn't been much time to forget about it if you actually cared to keep updated on it.

I've never forgotten it, it still pisses me off the last original .Hack game was only published under a short window then shot up to about $80. Only game in that (original) series (which I absolutely LOVED) that I never got to play :(

Please... for the love of GOD let this be translated and released in America. This just became my most wanted Japanese games.
Well maybe if they had released .hack//sign, which was actually pretty good, in the west then people might not have forgotten about it.
All I can say is please be on consoles. I bought both the last two sets of .hack games, and if this is on consoles, I will buy it too.
