Team up for vengeance in Far Cry 3 co-op

3:30 PM on 11.27.2012

Ubisoft absolutely does not want you to forget that Far Cry 3 is coming out this week and have released yet another trailer offering perfectly good reasons one should consider investing in the sandbox title. In this instance, the focus is on the title's cooperative campaign, which allows four players to team up to complete an entirely separate story of revenge.

Every time I see the game, I do get a little more interested, so the barrage of trailers is working its subtle alchemy. The big plus for me is offering split-screen in the console versions, which I'm always a fan of. It's just that I found Far Cry 2 to be so frustrating that I'm worried about having a similar experience here. I'll be waiting to see what Jim Sterling has to say when he posts his review, which should be arriving in the near future.

The Far Cry 4 devs went to Nepal and watched an animal sacrifice

It's not uncommon for developers to travel to far and distant lands to immerse themselves in the culture that they aim to represent in the videogames they're creating. What is uncommon (I imagine) is to watch a goat get sacr...more

Far Cry 4 villain wears that suit as an homage to his mother

Ubisoft released an interview with Far Cry 4 executive producer Dan Hay that tip-toes around the relationship between the game's striking villain, Pagan Min, and its returned-home-to-spread-his-mother's-ashes protagonist, Ajay Ghale. Lots of maternal stuff going on here. Can't wait for some psychoanalysis. more
