Whether an achievement fanatic, blistering your fingers in ceaseless toil toward a gamer score displayable only in scientific notation, or simply enjoying playing, thus forsaking a banner with which to declare a singular prowess, we all enjoy that little blip signifying an unlocked achievement. Well, most of the time anyway. There are the lame achievements we've gotten, the ones score-whores love and those with a more, shall we say, refined palette react to with facepalms and incredulous inquiries of "Did I really just get an achievement for that?!".
It seems Team Ninja is aiming achievements for Ninja Gaiden 2 at just those very connoisseurs, asking what you would like as an achievement in the upcoming ninjitsu fueled gorefest. Until January 24th, Gamerscore Blog is accepting submissions (including name, artwork, gamerscore, and description) in their post announcing the contest. You've got 10 days to whip up an awesome achievement, and with a game featuring as many creative ways to wreak bloody havoc as Ninja Gaiden 2 does, I expect I'll see a bevy horrifyingly creative achievements and lose a little more of my faith in humanity in the process.

I'd like to see something like, beat the game without losing a life. Or even more masochistic, beat the game without taking any damage.

Waiting For Christmas : Hold block for more then 10 seconds (1 point :P)
This Is My Boomstick : Finish first boss using fire ninpo.
Next Time You Primitives Even Touch Me : Allow all enemies on screen to hit you ONLY once before finishing them all off.

Well Done Ninjaburger (10gp) - Die by being sliced up by two bad guys at once. Then die to fire based attacks. The two deaths have to be consecutive.
Meat Catapult (20gp) - Launch any body part more than 50 meters.
Norris Is Next (30gp) - Finish any level on any difficulty only using fully charged heavy attacks.
Real Ultimate Power (50gp) - Complete the last level without blocking, dying, or saving.
Weapons of Choice (20gp) - Complete the whole game without leveling up any of your weapons.
Walk Without Rhythm (10gp) - Finish a level without moving in a straight line for more than 2 seconds.
Master Chef (5gp) - Complete a fight only using fire ninpo.
Murderer's Row (5gp) - Die at every creature's hand, claw, foot, talon, teeth, or amorphous attack blob.
I Regret Nothing! (5gp) - Fall more than 100 meters.
1up Mushroom (5gp) - Jump on 6 enemy heads without touching the ground.
Everythings Better When Wet - Kill 10 Enemies while running on water.
