@Sonintega I think you misunderstood me. I'm not calling for rampant, irresponsible sex in the media (Violence already has that covered.) The very nature of your comments seems to speak to the values I was talking about. We are so ashamed of our bodies, and that of others, we can't simply enjoy the provocative male or female figure without having to be ashamed. Sex games would be fine, as porn is fine. In fact, it can help dissuade people from doing drastic things by providing them with a sexual release. It's a known fact that the movie ratings board (and video game) are largely controlled by Christian interests. Christians have always been against sex, plain and simple. We can see these values injected into the undertones of our media. We have to be ashamed of masturbation or wanting to see the naked figure, when in truth, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing more human than doing so. Far more human, than say, using a plasma cutter to blast the limbs off of reanimated infant corpses (DS2--which i love btw.) I'm just saying, the main stream game media can show images like these, but games like DOA that have sex simply for the sake of it take endless flack for doing nothing more than giving us what our humanity craves.

The whole "THERE OBJECTIFYING TEH WOMENZ" thing doesn't really stick with me mainly because it's all stuff that has been done before in media since forever even more so in games, specifically, fighting and action games. Then there is the fact that the fans who wanted it probably felt that if they had changed this, then what other changes to the core gameplay would be made for the sake of Hayashi's inability to make good games? All you need for an example of this, is to look at Ninja Gaiden 3 and Metroid: Other M. If anything, the request kept them in line and I appreciate that. Still, it's not like the characters didn't have personalities or motivations and I think that's the another reason I've been able to stick by the series for so long while other brushed it off. It is by no means legendary writing, but that in combination with the solid and golden gameplay make for a fine fighting game as far as I'm concerned.

It's a cool game. The breasts are still big. It has freaking wet t-shirt creating water effects. Get over it you picky pervs.

actually it says a lot about the people they have alpha testing the game, and more about how the trust them.....which is much worse than being infintile themselves.

Hey, all! Since we've come to the conclusion that "creepy sex dolls brought to life through some arcane means, existing only to mildly amuse the very worst of humanity with their physics-defying glands and high-pitched whimpering" is a gross and disturbing thing to be turned on by, no wonder there is a movement to have "respectable and better representations of women" in video games... The movement wants stuff to fap to too!

I just love how the same men here who want more megaboobs in their games are probably the same ones who say that sexuality is being "shoved down their throats" if someone so much as suggests there ought to be more gay characters in games.
I've refrained from buying any of these games based solely on how the "sexiness" creeps me out, I enjoy a good fighting game now and then so I would definitely bought one or two DoA games if it wasn't for this.
The funniest/creepiest thing about Team Ninja is that they don't seem to give a damn about how they portray women in video game. Just look at Other M!
