Team Fortress 2sdays: Steam sale hangover photo

Every Tuesday a bunch of us Dtoiders get together and hop online to play some Team Fortress 2 on the official Destructoid server! You should join us!

Uuuuugh, where am I and what happened to my wallet? Whoa, it's been like a week and a half. Wait, why do I have all of these games on Steam. Wait a minute... Drat looks like the dark force that is the Steam sale snuck in and wiped me out. Hopefully you guys got off a little easier than I did this year. Fortunately we now get to hang out and talk about all of the ridiculous deals that have turned our wallets in to wastelands over a rousing bout of TF2.

Looking for more information on our Steam sale survivors club? Hit the jump to know what we'll be getting up to this week.

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is out today, and it kicks the crap out of All the Bravest

Final Fantasy: All the Bravest was a travesty. It played itself, it was pretty abrasive in its pandering, and the microtransactions were so pushy that it was hard to enjoy it without feeling like you were constantly being sold something. Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is another free-to-play game in the same vein, but it's a much better effort that doesn't feel straight-up insulting to fans.more

Unsung Heroes: Bad Company

Way back in 2009, Charlie Brooker’s Gameswipe had this cutting observation about the po-faced nature of military shooters. During a particularly grim scene in Call of Duty: World at War, Brooker flambés several s...more

Escalator Pitch: Nina Freeman argues for perpetual Sailor Moon cosplay

Indie developers make some cool as heck games, but they're not always so great at selling them. We want to them work on their pitch game until they're at Bumgarner levels and we want to take advantage of the the horrible, ho...more
