All eyes are on Portal 2 and its potential early release, it would seem. But what about lonely old Team Fortress 2? It's just been updated -- without the inclusion of any hats. This one's for you, anti-hat crowd.
Most notably, there's the Koth_Badlands map, improved voice chat quality, rejiggered AI bots, a new voting system, plenty of weapon tweaks, and some sort of system for coaching players, among other things.
If you don't have all of the Potato Sack indie games running in the background, you should consider loading up TF2 for the evening. Also, is it just me, or is the Scout terrifying when he's happy?

I fail to see how. It's a twist on viral marketing that no one has ever done before and I doubt many people could. If anything, this helps out the indie devs the most. This got people buying those games who probably never would have otherwise. Obviously Valve gets a cut, but it's a business. If people are willing to pay for something, it would be stupid not to charge them. It's not desperate as much as it is Valve sticking to their strengths.

No, no, no. Is just like the first update in a long while that they did not feature a new hat of sorts.
Although they sneakily left a reminder that Portal 2 preorders give you a badge.
That pretty much sums up every ARG experience. As another person said in a similar post, its more about the journey during the ARG then the end. We got to see a bunch of nifty updates to existing games and a reduce on price to thoes who wanted to try them.
