Team Fortress 2 gets limited-edition DLC for Japan relief photo

Those clever girls and guys at Valve are doing their part to help support relief efforts in Japan.

Team Fortress 2 has received three special hats and two noisemakers, which can be purchased from the game's Mann Co. store through April 6. The prices are higher than you might expect, however, all earnings will be going to the American Red Cross.

Hats -- and the marketplace for digital gear in general -- have come a long way. Some users are still resisting, especially when it comes to exclusive gear being rewarded for buying certain non-Valve games. But, this is about as noble a cause as any.

[Thanks, Wesley]
